1] Turn on Do Not Disturb using Quick Settings Toggle
The quick settings toggle in realme UI hides the easiest way to enable Do Not Disturb Mode. To switch on or off DND, just slide down on your home screen to bring up the notification shade, swipe once more, then touch on the option for DND to toggle it on or off. Wasn’t that easy?.
2] Enable DND Mode via Settings
For a more detailed overview of the DND mode, you can head over to the Settings application and find a ton of options to play with. Here’s how.
- Open the Settings application on your smartphone.
- Navigate to Settings > Sounds and Vibration.
- Here, find the option for Do Not Disturb.
- Finally, find and turn the toggle ON for Do Not Disturb at the top.
3] Customize DND Mode in Realme UI 1.0/2.0/3.0
Well, now that you’ve managed to turn ON the DND mode, here are a few settings you can play with to find the perfect Do Not Disturb experience.
3.1] Time Periods
Let’s say you head over to the office at 9 AM daily, and head back home at 4 PM, you can now schedule DND to automatically turn ON at a time and turn off at an instance. To set this up, tap on Schedules under Do Not Disturb and set your timings.
3.2] Configure Who Can Call or Message You When DND is Enabled
Next, you can configure exceptions with DND in realme UI, receiving notifications of calls/messages from a certain set of people even when DND is turned ON. To configure this, head over to Settings > Do Not Disturb > and choose from the list of Anyone, Contacts, Starred Contacts or No One for the three categories: Allowed Notifications, Calls and Messages.
3.3] Other Options
While the above-mentioned options might be the perfect fit for many, there are other tools you can try out too, for instance: the Ring for Repeated Calls toggle notifies you when a user has been repeatedly calling you, this might be helpful if there’s an emergency.
