Realme, the worlds fastest growing brand, has fallen into a troublesome situation. During the launch of the Realme Narzo 30A in Bangladesh, Realme decided to simulate that experience of an iPhone on stage instead of actually achieving it on the smartphone.
The company had invited some game streamers to play on what was said to be a Narzo 30A. However, the company seems to have used an iPhone to exemplify instead of the Narzo 30A.
On the event live streaming page, upon navigating to 18:03 you’ll notice a slightly off thing if you’ve played PUBG Mobile on iPhones before. One can spot a “Guided Access” screen pop up on the screen. However, this screen is known to be a feature that’s available exclusively on iPhones, indicating that the gamers couldn’t have been using the Narzo 30A during the stream.
The message ‘Guided Access Started, Triple Click the Side Button to Exit’ is something that’s privileged to iOS. Isn’t that a tricky situation for the company now?
While there’s no clear cut confirmation on why the company planned on doing so, this might be an attempt to attract players towards the smartphone. Considering that the Narzo 30A is an entry-level smartphone, a user would not generally expect iPhone levels of gaming performance. Finally, Realme could have safely informed users about the same without misleading the fans and viewers.
