Realme GT to launch soon with super-fast charging, big battery and more

For a while now, there have been numerous leaks and rumours regarding Realme’s upcoming Realme Race flagship smartphone. Evidently, the Race moniker is a codename for the unreleased smartphone. Realme executive Xu Qi Chase recently shared some exciting news on his Weibo profile earlier today concerning the brand’s forthcoming smartphone with a Snapdragon 888 flagship.

He earlier authenticated that the phone codenamed Realme Race will denote the start of an all-new flagship lineup and with this now we get a substantial hint that it will be called Realme GT. The accompanying photograph in the Weibo post exposes a Nissan GT-R scale model car and in the last week, we saw a TENAA listing for an unknown Realme device with a GT branding on its rear.

Moreover, it is already revealed that this new Realme GT series smartphone will be the brand’s first SD 888 powered phone and we even saw some live photos exhibiting a triple camera module on the back.

Last but not the least, a well-known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo also chimed in on Realme GT rumours symbolising the device will feature a flat display, come with “super-fast” charging and a thin chassis.

According to rumours, the upcoming Realme Race or the Realme GT will sport a 64-megapixel main camera besides a 13-megapixel telephoto and 13-megapixel ultrawide snappers. We’re also speculating a  5,000 mAh battery with support for 125W UltraDart flash charging along with a 120Hz display, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
