Realme Laptops tipped to Launch later this year

Mi Notebook

Soon after TV’s, smart audio products, fashion accessories, and more, smartphone manufacturer Realme seems to be soon entering the laptop market, as per Mukul Sharma, a notable leakster in the industry. He mentions that the first lineup of laptops could launch by the end of June this year. This piece of information comes out after Madhav Sheth, Realme India and Europe’s CEO, in a novel interview said the company has received a lot of questions regarding laptops. Though the tweet doesn’t disclose much else about the arrangement of the number of models that will launch initially, this might be a hint towards the same.

The company will take on the likes Xiaomi, HP, Dell, Lenovo, and so on in the notebook segment in India. Since neither of Realme’s sister companies has brought a laptop to the market yet,  the company may partner with an existing ODM or use its in-house R&D and manufacturing units which is a big challenge for a new brand. The laptops will be powered by AMD or Intel chipsets and run on Windows 10 OS. Independently, Madhav Sheth in a recent conversation revealed the organization’s plans to launch loads of new category products this year. Other executives from the company confirmed details about several new 5G phones, which include the Realme X7 series, the X9, Realme Race flagship, and more; along with new smart TVs, smart speakers, trimmers, laptops, TWS earbuds, smart bulbs, and more smart home gadgets later this year.
