While other companies such as Samsung are busy rolling out the June security update to its latest flagships, Realme is rolling out the current month’s security update to the Realme Narzo 30A. Units of the Narzo 30A are now getting the May 2021 security update, a couple of days after the update was released for the Realme X and XT.
The rollout of the update, which sports firmware version RMX3171_11_A.17, started today. The update brings May security patch update, fixes some known issues, and optimizations for system performance as well as stability. You can find the detailed changelog mentioned below.
Realme Narzo 30A RMX3171_11_A.17 Changelog

- Updated Android security patch: May 2021
- System
- Fix some known issues

The May security update is available over the air and can be downloaded from the phone by heading over to the Settings » Software Update menu, though it may be a while before it’s available country-wide owing to the phased nature of these rollouts. If you can’t get it that way or don’t want to wait, you can always download the latest firmware from the company’s archive and install it on a phone.
The Realme Narzo 30A smartphone is also eligible for the company’s latest skin Realme UI 2.0, the company has confirmed. The phone will be receiving the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 beta update in Q3 2021. The Narzo 30 Pro 5G’s update will tag along as well ( expected in the month of August or September).
