Realme Smart LED Bulb with 16 Million Colours to launch soon, listed on Banggood

Realme, which is said to be focussing on being a ‘5G Leader’ and ‘Realme TechLife’ in 2021, and recently dropped the Realme Alkaline Batteries for sale in India, appears to be gearing up for the launch of the Realme Smart LED Bulb with 16 Million Colours globally. The sale page has gone live on Banggood for a converted price of Rs.1,186 (~$25).

Going by the page listing, the Realme Smart LED Bulb carries the model number RMH2003, weighs at 140g, has a rated power rating of 9W with an input voltage of AC 120~250V. The poster advertises 1700K – 6500K colour temperatures to match a range of moods and atmospheres, has support for upto 16 million colours. The lights can be controlled using either the Realme Link application, Google Home or the Amazon Alexa.

The retail packaging of the device includes a single Realme Smart LED Bulb and a User Manual. There’s a special Dance with Music Light Wave Mode, which as per the advertisement, can automatically identify the rhythm of your music, synchronises with any song, creating a matching atmosphere with constantly changing light. Moreover, there appears to be three different lighting modes the Smart LED Bulb could be used with, namely: Reading, Working and Night Light mode.

Further, the company claims that the Smart Bulb doesn’t emit potentially harmful blue light, protecting the eyes of the users. There’s a specially built in dimmer chip which runs a custom algorithm to bring non flickering light to protect vision. Adding to it, there’s the IEC TR 62471 Photological Safety Certification and Power Outrage Protection: which stops the bulb from automatically turning on when power is restored.

One could power on/off, schedule timings, adjust the brightness and color temperature of the Smart LED lights via the Realme Link application. Interestingly, the company claims to offer 13 years of lifespan with the smart LED bulb.

That said, we would come to know about the pricing globally upon launch. What are your thoughts? Do let us know by dropping a comment down below.
