Realme, the young tech brand that started as a subdivision of Oppo, has put its goal in bringing 5G globally. It started its 5G race with its flagship X50 Pro and has later on extended it globally, by launching multiple 5G devices in the mid and high-end segment.
Moreover, the company is confirmed to soon bring the Relme 8 5G series to boost their 5G portfolio. To achieve this 5G goal, Realme has plans for investing in R&D centres across the globe.
In a press release sent to the Internation media, the company’s CEO Sky Li says that the company is a “popularizer of 5G” in the global arena. The company has always emphasized the spread of 5G and in the freshest efforts, it is sloping up the scale to a higher extent.
The company targets to turn 70% of its total portfolio into 5G enabled devices in the upcoming two years. The company is now investing $30 million and setting up 7 research and development centres across the globe for a better future. They claim to have already allotted 90% of their R&D into the development of 5G and 5G enabled smart devices.
Realme has also partnered with several 5G network companies for providing the best 5G experienced with their smartphones
