Realme recently uncovered the Realme GT smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC in China. Towards the end, the company teased a new smartphone under the same series named the Realme GT Neo. Going by the previous leaks, the Realme GT Neo is said to be powered by a new MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
Today, Twitter tipster @yabhishekhd first reported about a new Realme smartphone carrying the model number RMX3116, which we guess is the upcoming GT Neo. Aside from the visuals, the TENAA listing reveals some other key specifications of the smartphone.
Realme RMX3116 (Realme GT Neo) Spotted on TENAA
The TENAA listing provides us with a first look at the upcoming smartphone. As per the TENAA certification images, the smartphone sports a 6.55-inch curved display with a single punch-hole notch on the top left corner. We do expect the Realme GT Neo to feature an AMOLED display since it has a curved panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner similar to the one seen on the Realme GT.
Flipping the phone apart, there’s a rectangular camera module that seems to house three sensors. There’s the usual power button on the right while the volume rockers reside on the left. There’s a 4,400mAh dual-cell battery, a 65W charger which the 3C certification has already confirmed about. Other information includes Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0, 159.9×73.4×7.8mm in dimensions.
For now, that’s all that the TENAA certification reveals, we do hope to see some more information in the upcoming few days.
Finally, we do expect the smartphone to make a debut sometime in late April or May. The Realme GT Neo might be taking on the likes of the Mi 10i, OnePlus Nord and other smartphones in the segment. That said, what do you think? Do let us know by dropping a comment down below.
