The state-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced a new Rs 797 recharge plan in India. The telecom company offers a 395-day validity with the plan. The new recharge plan also features unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day for the initial 60 days of the plan. Once the first 60 days are over, the customers are bounded to recharge with a top-up using talk time or data packs. Let’s take a look at the new Rs 797 plan by BSNL and its benefits.
BSNL’s New Rs 767 Recharge Plan Offers 2GB of Daily Data
The government-owned telecom service BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced a new prepaid plan at Rs. 797 for the telecom users in India. For starters, the plan offers a 2 GB daily data validity; unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day for the first 60 days. However, the plan comes with a validity of 395 days from the date of recharge for the users.
The internet speed reduces to 80 Kbps after the data limit gets breached. Users will have the vicinity to recharge the internet data of the plan. They have an option to recharge add-on packs, which will resume the internet at regular speeds. The benefits provided by BSNL for the recharge plan will stay active until 60 days and post 60 days all the benefits will expire.

The cellular network will stay active on the SIM number and incoming calls will stay active on this plan; after the expiration of plan benefits. Besides, the telecom company will provide an additional 30 days of extra validity to customers who recharge with the plan until June 12, 2022.
The telecom customers can download the BSNL Self Care application or visit their official recharge portal from the internet to recharge their SIM cards. Nonetheless, the plan comes as a befitting answer for users that need to keep their number active for a long time with added benefits. On the other hand, BSNL is working thoroughly to bring the long-awaited commercial 4G network in India; as well as the 5G network in Non-Standalone (NSA) mode.
