Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition Android 11 Realme UI 2.0 update out now, India first market to get it

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition

The Android 11 update is hitting yet another mid-range model in Realme’s smartphone lineup. On the receiving end, this time around is the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition. The update has been released in India and comes with version 2.0 of Realme UI, just like the Android 11 update for other Realme and Narzo devices released in the last couple of months.

India is the first country to get the Android 11 update for the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition, but more markets should be joining the party soon. Android 11 and One UI 3.1 include quite a few new features, such as chat bubbles, one-time permissions, improved customization options, faster performance, smoother animations and tons more.

The C15 Qualcomm Editions’s Android 11 update changelog doesn’t mention any updated security patches. You can download the update over the air from the phone’s Settings » Software update menu. The Android 11 firmware can also be manually flashed on the phone using the relevant file that you can download Realme’s firmware archive.

For those wondering, the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition may be eligible for Android 12 since it is now receiving its first major OS update and there’s no confirmation from Realme on whether the Android 12 update will reach the device or not. However, it should continue receiving security patches on a regular basis for at least another year.
