Realme GT Neo Spotted on AnTuTu with Dimensity 1200, as powerful as Snapdragon 870

After the Realme GT in China, the company is gearing up for the launch of its second Realme GT-series smartphone, nicknamed the Realme GT Neo. The brand has previously confirmed that the Realme GT Neo smartphone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Today, the smartphone has been spotted on AnTuTu and Geekbench revealing its scores and how does it fair against the Snapdragon 870 processor.

As revealed from the image posted by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Realme GT Neo scores 7,11,664 points on AnTuTu, In comparison, an unknown device running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 platform has scored 7,19,585. Evidently, at least on the script, both processors have turned out similar scores and if AnTuTu scores are all to go by, we can predict comparable performance as well.

Realme GT Neo Geekbench

The Realme RMX3031 was spotted on GeekBench featuring 8GB RAM, running on Android 11, and sporting the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC scoring 975 points in the single-core test and 3340 points in the multi-core tests.

The Realme GT Neo will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 180hz touch sampling rate, along with a punch-hole cutout on the left corner for the selfie snapper. The display might be covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer on top for protection.

Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage which could later be expanded via the use of a microSD card. The phone will run on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top and might feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for security along with face unlock.

Other connectivity features might include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. Going by the TENAA listing, the Realme GT Neo will have triple cameras at the back with a 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel third lens. The phone may back a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.
