Realme had launched the Realme X earlier with Android 9 onboard. This disappointed fans because the Android version was on the verge and the company could have introduced it with Android 10, but it didn’t. The company is now rolling out a new update for the Realme X along with the Realme XT which brings the May 2021 security patch. Let us take a look at what it has to offer.
The Realme X has started receiving the Android 10-based Realme UI 1.0 update in Russia. The new software update, which has firmware version RMX1901_11_C.11, RMX1921EX_11_C.13 for the Realme X and XT respectively, also includes the May 2021 security patch. The official changelog states that it brings fixes to some known issues and optimizes the system stability. You can find the changelog listed below.

The update doesn’t bring new features like a refreshed UI design, more lock screen widgets, easier access to smart home controls, and more. The May 2021 security patch includes fixes from Google for three critical vulnerabilities and other fixes from Realme.
If you are a Realme X or XT user in the country, you might have received a notification of the new software update. If you haven’t received it yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and choosing Download and install.
