While companies like Samsung are already seeding the August 2021 security patch to various Galaxy devices, Realme isn’t done with previous releases. Various smartphone models remain queued up for the July security update, and the Realme X and the Realme XT are next in line to receive it.
The 4G model of the Realme Narzo 30 was the one among the first to be updated with the July 2021 security patch a couple of days ago when the rollout began in India. Now, the Realme X and XT in India are getting a new firmware update that includes the same security patch.v
The OTA updates are based on Realme UI 1.0 (Android 10). The update comes with the latest June and July 2021 security patches and tons of fixes, optimizations, and improvements in system stability and performance. The firmware version numbers are RMX1901EX_11.C.12 and RMX1921EX_11.C.14 respectively for the Realme X and XT. The changelog has been mentioned below.

You can download the latest firmware update with the July 2021 security patch in tow by tapping the update notification when it arrives, or by opening Settings on the phone, accessing Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also skip these steps and download the new Realme X and XT update from realme’s firmware database.
