New OTA for Realme 8 RMX3085_11_A.05 brings optimizations for Camera

Realme unveiled the Realme 8 smartphone recently, powered by the MediaTek G95 SoC, a 6.4-inch 60Hz Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen, a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W charging and running on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box.

The company is now rolling out a new update for the Realme 8 with the build number RMX3085_11_A.05 sized at ~200MB.

The latest update optimizes the image quality of the rear camera, videos from the ultra-wide-angled lens, brings changes to ultra-wide angled night mode images and front camera while optimizing the touching algorithm.

Recall that the smartphone packs in a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a max brightness of 1000 nits along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. There’s support for DC-like Dimming and eye care functionality.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the octa-Core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with 2 Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.05Ghz and 6 Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz along with the Mali G76, the chipset is built on 12nm process, and comes with a larger vapour chamber to keep the temperature low while gaming or performing heavy tasks

Realme 8 is available in three variants, the 4GB + 128GB configuration that costs Rs. 14,999, the 6GB + 128GB configuration that costs Rs. 15,999, and the 8GB + 128GB configuration that costs Rs. 16,999 in India.
