Realme C2 is getting a new firmware update with May Security Patch

Another day, another Realme smartphone is getting updated with the May 2021 security patch. The Realme C2 is now receiving a new firmware update with the May 2021 security patch in tow, joining dozens of other Realme devices that have already gotten this treatment over the past couple of weeks.

The new update carries the firmware version RMX1941EX_11_A.34 and brings the May 2021 security patch, several improvements as well as optimization in overall system performance and stability. The update is based on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The firmware version suggests that the new update doesn’t include any new features aside from the latest security patch, even though Camera improvements were included in other recent releases.

Eligible Realme C2 variants can be updated from the phone’s Settings app by checking the Software update section, but owners can also download the update files from the company’s firmware archive and install the package manually without having to wait for Samsung’s OTA release. The Realme 8 Pro is receiving a new update as well with the May security patch.
