Another day, another group of updates from Realme. After releasing the June security update to the Realme 6 Pro in India earlier yesterday, the company has started rolling out a new software update to the Realme C20 and C21 in the region. The latest update brings improved privacy and security to entry-level smartphones.
Realme has released a new software update to the Realme C20 and C21. It bears firmware version RMX3061_11_A.39/ RMX3063_11_A.39/RMX3201_11_A.39 and includes the June 2021 security patch. The company has not revealed detailed documentation, but it is said that the newest security patch consists of 47 fixes from Google. However, don’t expect the firmware to bring any new user-facing change.

Note: The company says that: “To ensure the stability of this update, it will have a staged rollout. The update will be randomly pushed out to a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. If no critical bugs are found, the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.”
If you are a Realme C20 or Realme C21 user in India, you can either wait for the OTA update to arrive or manually check for it by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from the company’s firmware database and flash it manually on your smartphone.
