Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom Duo get the March 2022 security update

Realme’s X3 series, which includes the Realme X3 and the Realme X3 SuperZoom, has received a new upgrade. Realme has released a new OTA package that will update the X3 series with the most recent security patch. The Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom, on the other hand, are yet to receive the Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0.

Realme is expected to release the Realme UI 3.0 upgrade for these top smartphones in the near future. The Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom launched in 2019 with a Snapdragon 855+ flagship chipset. In May 2021, the smartphones received the Realme UI 2.0 stable upgrade, which is based on Android 11.

The X3 and X3 SuperZoom firmware versions are RMX2081_11_C.12 and RMX2085_11_C.12, respectively, in the latest Realme upgrade. The X3 series pair will receive the upgrade, which includes the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS. The OTA package is 266 MB in size and includes the March 2022 security patch as well as performance and stability enhancements to the system. In some cases, the update will also fix some difficulties on devices with optimizations and Android icon appearances.

You can check for the new update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can even manually download the latest firmware update from Realme’s official page and flash it directly.
