A number of Realme smartphones, particularly the higher-end GT and X-series models, have been waiting for the stable Android 12 upgrade for quite some time. Realme has released the Realme UI 3.0 stable update for the Realme 8 Pro and GT Master Edition, keeping its word. Now, the Realme X7 Max is receiving its Android 12 stable update in the country.

The new OTA update for the X7 Max has begun rolling out, which upgrades the smartphone’s Android 11 OS to Android 12 and includes a slew of UI tweaks and performance enhancements. Let’s take a look at the Realme UI 3.0 update for the Realme X7 Max, including its features, modifications, and more.

The Realme X7 Max made its debut last year across the world and in a couple of months after the launch, the device received its Android 12 beta version. Now, the company has raised its curtains about the update after a brief open beta and closed beta period. The X7 Max has started receiving the stable Realme UI 3.0 update with a build number of RMX3031_11_C.08.

    • Adds “”Background stream””: Apps in Background stream mode continue playing the audio of a video when you leave them or lock your phone.

    • You can now drag a file from My Files or a photo from the Photos app to a floating window.
    • You can now double-tap the text in a conversation in the Messages app to enlarge the text for easy reading and editing.

    • Optimizes categorization of functions by grouping them into vision, hearing, interactive actions, and general.
    • TalkBack supports more system apps including Photos, Phone, Mail, and Calendar.
