Alleged Realme 8 (RMX3092) with Dimensity 720 spotted on Geekbench

Two new puzzling Realme smartphones carrying model numbers RMX3092 and RMX3093 have been spotted at China’s certification platforms: 3C and TENAA, in the past couple of weeks. Interestingly, the RMX3092 smartphone has appeared on Geekbench (via), and it is rumored that the smartphone may belong to the upcoming Realme 8 series.

The RMX3092 Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 MT6853V chipset coupled with 8 GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 10 OS and scores 2874 points in the single-core test and 8088 in the multi-core test. As for the 3C listing, the Realme RMX3092 could be sporting a 65W fast charger in China, and the RMX3093 phone, which is rumored to be the Realme 8 Pro, is also expected to arrive with a 65W charger.

Additionally, the RMX3092 has also bagged approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), indicating that the device could be arriving in the markets outside of China, such as India as the Realme 8. Since Realme hasn’t launched any of the Realme number series of smartphones in China, there’s a possibility that the device could be launching in China as a new Q-series or V-series smartphone. As per the latest reports, the Realme 8 series could be debuted in January 2021 and the Narzo 30 series.

Next up, A couple of other Realme smartphones are also in the works and may debut in the upcoming weeks, such as the Realme X7 series of smartphones, the Narzo 30 series, and more. Yesterday, some live images of a Realme device were leaked on Weibo with some alleged specifications. The smartphone is expected to also launch under the name of Realme V15. As per the leaked specifications, the device is expected to be a premium 5G mid-ranger.
