  • Location/GPS must be turned ON.

  • Method 1:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Tap on Security and then choose to Find My Device.
    • Turn the toggle on for the same.
  • Method 2:

    • Go to Settings.

How to Use Find My Device to Locate Your Lost Smartphone

Track Realme Smartphones

Now that Find My Device is up and running on your smartphone, here are the steps you can follow to track down or locate your device.

  • Start by opening the Find My Device application on another smartphone or head over to android.com/find in a web browser.
  • Browse to android.com/find and sign in to your Google Account which was logged in on the lost device.
  • If the device could be found, it will show on the map, else Google will show the last known location here.
  • Users also get a bunch of options to go with:
    • Play sound – Plays a sound on your device at full volume for 5 minutes, even if it’s set to silent or vibrate.
    • Lock – Locks your device with your PIN, pattern, or password.
    • Erase – Permanently deletes all data on your device. However, do note that once this option has been enabled, Find My Device will cease to work.
