Realme had announced its Realme 5 series of smartphones back in India last year, and the series comprises of the Realme 5, Realme 5s, Realme 5i, and the Realme 5 Pro. The smartphones in the series feature a 6.52-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, 5000mAh battery, and more. The Realme 5 and 5i sport 12-megapixel quad rear cameras, while the Realme 5s are comprised of 48-megapixel quad rear cameras.
Realme has officially started rolling out a new December update to the Realme 5, Realme 5s, and Realme 5i. This new update brings the Android November Security Patch, adds options for adjusting Sunrise to sunset in Eye Comfort mode, and adds a shortcut for the short Press Power button to turn off flash, Optimizes the interface for screenshot floating preview, and much more. The update features for the Realme 5 and Realme 5s features the same build number RMX1911EX_11.C.61, while the Realme 5i sports the RMX2030EX_11.C.61 build number.

In a recent press release, the company has confirmed that the latest OTA rolling out for these smartphones in India. The update is rolling out in stages, so it may take some time before all users get it. We recommend users update their handsets under a strong Wi-Fi connection and keep the phone fully charged before updating. One can also check for updates manually by going into Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update. However, If you haven’t received an update yet, wait for some time for the update to land on your smartphone.
