Realme 7 5G is getting a new software update with April 2021 security patch

Realme has been consistently releasing Android 10 based updates and the latest security patches to its smartphones. It was one of the first few brands to roll out the April 2021 security patch. Now, the company has released a new security patch to the Realme 7 5G.

The Realme 7 5G (RMX2111) has started receiving a new software update in Europe. This new update brings the April 2021 security patch to the smartphone. The new software rolling out in Europe has firmware version RMX2111PU_11_A.35. As per Realme’s documentation, the April 2021 security patch and fixes for some known bugs.

There isn’t much mentioned apart from the April security patch and it is safe to assume that it doesn’t bring new features to the Realme 7 5G, and includes just security-related fixes and stability improvements. If you are a Realme 7 5G user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update and then tapping on Download and Install.

The update could roll out in more countries over the next few days.

Moreover, Realme has not released any information regarding the Realme UI 2.0 update for the device till now. The device is identical to the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G launched in other countries, and hence it is assumed that it may get the Realme UI 2.0 along with the other device.
