Realme, India’s fastest-growing smartphone brand, today introduced two new smartphones, the Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro. Highlights of the Realme 8 Pro include a 108MP primary sensor, the Snapdragon 720G SoC, 50W SuperDart charging and more. The phone will go on sale from March 25th from 12:00 noon onwards. The Realme 8 Pro is available in three colours – Infinite Blue, Infinite Black and Illuminating Yellow, priced at INR 17,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM +128GB storage and INR 19,999 for 8GB RAM +128GB storage. The first sale for Infinite Blue and Infinite Black colour is scheduled for March 25th from 12:00 noon onwards on Realme’s official store, Flipkart and other mainline channels. The Illuminating Yellow colour will be available for sale soon.
The newly arrived Realme 8 Pro flaunts a 6.4-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a left-aligned punch hole housing the front-facing 16-megapixel shooter. Under the hood, the phone is being powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
There’s a quad-camera module on the rear comprising of the primary 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel B/W lens. Some camera features on the smartphone include Starry Time-lapse Video and Tilt-shift Time-lapse Video.
There’s a 4500 mAh battery powering the device with support for 50W SuperDart charging which can charge the phone up to 100% in 47 mins. The phone runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
