Realme 8 Pro picks up March 2022 security update in India

After consecutive update rollouts for Realme 9 Series and GT Master edition; Realme has started rolling out a new update for its last year’s Realme 8 Pro handset. The latest update from the Chinese brand brings a couple of changes and improvements – fixes to the Pro edition of the Realme 8 Series. Along with the new features, the latest OTA package updates the Android Security patch; with an up-to-date version for 2022.

Realme 8 Pro A.47 March 2022 Security Update

The update arrives for the Realme 8 Pro running Realme UI 2.0 based on the Android 11. The build number is noted as RMX3081_11_A.47. Furthermore, this update for the Realme 8 Pro gets a package size of 300 MB and features system stability and performance improvements.

The new update packs in the security patch for February and March 2022; along with a few changes with the user interface of the Bluetooth menu settings. The new changes made for the Realme 8 Pro include the addition of device icons on the Bluetooth setup page while connecting devices.

Realme rolls out the updates in stages, hence a few handfuls of Realme 8 Pro handsets will first receive the update, and if there are no bugs noticed, it will be rolled out to more phones later. Users can also check for updates by navigating to Settings > Software update and choosing Download and install from the drop-down menu.
