Soon after the launch of the Realme X7 and the Narzo 30 series in India, Realme is now preparing for the announcement of the successor to the Realme 7 series, the Realme 8 in India.
After the trend with 64-megapixel sensors on budget smartphones, smartphone manufacturers are moving ahead with the 108-megapixel sensors. Soon after Xiaomi, Realme’s rival confirmed that they will be packing in a 108-megapixel sensor on their upcoming smartphone; Realme has now confirmed to host a Camera Innovation Event to showcase the 108-megapixel sensor and its capabilities.
The company’s statement reads:: “‘Dare to Leap’ is our attitude. realme has always lived by this attitude. It defines us and keeps motivating us to aim higher, make breakthroughs, and push the boundaries on all fronts including innovation and design.
Through constant innovation across our products, realme aims to come to a step closer to offering a wider and better range of options for the users. In the past realme has constantly innovated and presented the best of offerings, in 2019, realme was the first smartphone brand to have launched a 64MP camera and in 2021 the brand is all set to launch its all-new 108MP camera and innovative features for trendsetting photography.
Camera technology for smartphones will be an integral part of an exciting range of products lined up in the coming months.”
The event will take place virtually on March 2nd, 2021 on the company’s social media handles including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
