While Realme has started teasing the Realme 8 series on their social media handles with the hashtag #InfiniteLeapWith8; the company will be hosting a camera innovation event on March 2nd showcasing the capabilities of a 108-megapixel sensor.
Today, Salman Khan, who is currently the brand ambassador of Realme, has been spotted by 91Mobiles holding a device that seems to belong to the Realme 8 series.
Going by the image, the Realme 8 Pro’s back panel will feature a gradient design with an enlarged Dare to Leap text labelled on it. The camera layout seems to be housing a quad-camera system, one of them probably being the 108-megapixel sensor.
There’s an LED flash below the camera module, and since we couldn’t spot a rear fingerprint sensor; therefore, it the device might either have an AMOLED display or a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Realme 8 Specifications (Expected)
The Realme 8 is reported to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC paired with up to 8GB’s of RAM. Both the Realme 8 and its Pro variant are expected to feature quad rear cameras, where the regular realme 8 might get a 48-megapixel sensor and the Pro, a 64-megapixel one.
The Realme 8 might get a 6.5-inch 120Hz LCD display, just like the Narzo 30 Pro while the Realme 8 Pro may feature an AMOLED display like its predecessor. The smartphones might be powered by a 5000mAh battery. These new upcoming phones will run on Realme UI 2.0 with Android 11 out of the box.
