Realme GT 5G has been launched in China by the company, as its first Snapdragon 888 powered smartphone for 2021. The smartphone is now official featuring a single punch-hole designed display on the front and a dual-tone Vegan Leather design on the rear.
There’s a rectangular camera module coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Topping it all up, there’s the Snapdragon 888 SoC, which runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0, flaunts a 120Hz AMOLED display, 64MP primary camera sensor, VC Cooling system and more.

The newly arrived Realme GT 5G smartphone features a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a single punch-hole cutout on the left, the screen refreshes at 120Hz and has a peak brightness of 1000nits. The front display is protected by the Corning Gorilla 5.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU and will be available with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Realme GT runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box.
As for the optics, the new Realme GT 5G sports a triple camera module comprising of a primary 64-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls.
Camera features on the smartphone include PureRaw mode, AI selfies, 4K 60fps recording, and more. The smartphone is being powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
Other connectivity options on the phone include Dual 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics and security, stereo speakers, support for Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio.
Realme GT 5G Pricing and Availability
The Realme GT 5G has been priced at CNY 2,799 (~Rs 34,000) for the 8GB + 128GB model and CNY 3,299 (~Rs 37,000) for the 12GB+256GB variant in China.
Finally, the phone is available in three colour variants Blue, Silver and a Vegan Lether edition. The smartphone will go on sale starting on March 10th in China.
