Realme GT Neo 2 and Realme X7 have officially started to receive the January 2022 Security Patch in India. The January Security patch for Realme devices started rolling out a few days back with the Realme C20 being the first phone to receive this update and now the update has been started to roll out for these two smartphones.
This new update which brings the January Security patch is still based on Realme UI 2.0 and the latest firmware for the Realme X7 comes with versions RMX3092_11_C.09 while the GT Neo2 comes with the version RMX3370_11_A.07. Currently, the update has been started to roll out for Indian users and we expect it to be soon pushed to other parts of the world as well.
The latest updates bring the January 2022 security patch update, bug fixes and device stability improvements; hence if you were facing some issues with your device in the past, then the new update might fix the issues.
As for how one can update their device, doing so is very simple – head over to the Settings page on their Realme device > scroll down and click on the Software Update option. This should check for any new updates that may be available for your device.
