Realme just unveiled the Realme GT Neo in China headlined by a primary 64-megapixel sensor and the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC; the India launch could be around the corner as the phone has appeared on the BIS certification website.
Realme GT Neo set to launch in India soon
The same model number has been spotted on the Indian BIS website, suggesting that the Indian launch mighyt be just around. Previously, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth had teased the launch of a phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC in India which was speculated to be the Realme GT Neo. Going by his statement, it might be possible that the phone soon lands in India.

Moreover, the company shared a poster on their social media handles teasing the upcoming Realme Meow VR glasses, without mentioning any specifics. Later, Madhav Sheth the company CEO teased the launch of a new Realme C series device for India, a new Laptop oddly named Realme MeowBook along with the Meow AI Speaker which is to debut in early April. We speculate the Realme GT Neo launch to happen alongside in the early half of April.
Realme GT Neo Specifications
Realme GT Neo runs Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11. The phone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a 360hz touch response rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1200 CPU and Mali-G77 MC9 GPU with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
For photos and videos, the Realme GT Neo packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX682 sensor with f/1.73 aperture, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor for ultra-wide shots and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for macro shots. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter housed in a hole-punch cutout located at the top left corner of the screen.
For connectivity, the Realme GT Neo comes with support for dual 5G (5G+5G), 4G, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Realme has packed a 4,500mAh battery in this phone with support for 50W fast charging. The phone is 8.4mm thick and weighs just 179g.
