Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India and Europe, says Realme will host a virtual event in India on June 24. There will be two smartphones and a TV being introduced by the company, Sheth says. India will see the launch of the Realme Narzo 30 and Realme Narzo 30 5G phones, as well as a new 32-inch Realme Smart full-HD TV.
Earlier last month, the Realme Narzo 30 5G was inducted into the Realme Narzo 30 family in Europe and Malaysia. India’s version of Realme Narzo 30 5G is expected to vary from the European model, as the European model is identical to the Realme 8 5G that is already on sale in India. The launch event will take place on June 24 at 12:30 pm IST. Prices and availability details will be revealed at the event. The phones in this series aren’t the first ones to be released. India already has Realme Narzo 30 Pro and Narzo 30A available.
According to the teasers, Realme Narzo 30 and Realme Narzo 30 5G may come with hole-punch displays with a cutout on the top edge of the screen. A rear camera design on the Realme Narzo 30 5G and the Realme Narzo 30 is identical to the models from earlier this year. There is a possibility that Realme Narzo 30 5G specifications may show slight changes from the European model.
The respective prices for the two phones should be comparable to those of their global counterparts. The Realme Narzo 30 is priced at MYR 799 (~ Rs. 14,100) for the sole 6GB + 128GB storage variant in Malaysia, while the Realme Narzo 30 5G is priced at EUR 219 (~ Rs. 19,400) for the lone 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option in Europe.
On the other hand, the 32-inch Realme Smart TV has thin bezels all around, as well as a thicker bezel on the bottom. As per Yogesh, the Realme Smart 32-inch TV features a 1920 x 1080P Full HD resolution, a Quad-core CPU with 1GB RAM, and 8GB storage. There’s the Realme Chroma Boost Picture Engine with, 24W quad speakers which have support for Dolby Audio. The TV runs on Android 9.0 and has Chromecast built-in. Connectivity and port options include Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB 2.0, LAN, AV, and SPDIF.
