Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition with QHD+ Curved AMOLED Display tipped to launch soon

Realme previously unveiled the Realme X7 Pro 5G alongside the Realme X7. The Realme X7 series of devices were one of the first to bring 5G-enabled Dimensity processors to the global market. While the Realme X7 is being powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U, there’s the Dimensity 1000+ powering the Realme X7 Pro 5G.

Today, as per reports from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Realme is set to launch a new Extreme Edition of the Realme X7 Pro 5G soon in China which may make its debut in other countries as well.

Digital Chat Station, a tipster with an excellent track record, posted on Weibo revealing Realme’s plans to launch a new variant of the Realme X7 Pro 5G. The smartphone will feature a 2K+ curved AMOLED display, developed by Samsung; The display is reported to be sized at 6.55-inches and refreshes at 90hz.

The famous Japanese industrial designer Fukasawa Naoto, who was also the man behind the Realme X and Realme X2 Pro’s Master Editions, has reportedly designed the rear panel of the smartphone.

The device will also be slimmer than the regular version, toning it down from 8.5mm to 7.8mm in thickness. However, there will be no change in the internals; featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC, a 64-megapixel quad-camera array, a 32-megapixel front camera, with a 4500mAh battery and 65W fast charging. While there’s no more information along with the launch date, we expect it to launch alongside the Realme GT Neo which will be launching on 31st March in China.
