May Security Patch now rolling out for Realme X50 Pro 5G

Realme has updated most of its new and old smartphones with the April 2021 security patch. Realme has also started rolling out the May 2021 security update to a few high-end smartphones. Today, the company has released a new update to the X50 Pro 5G, and it includes the May 2021 security patch.

The Realme X50 Pro (RMX2076) has started receiving the new software update in India, but we expect other European markets to get it in a matter of days. The new update, which has firmware version RMX2076PU_11.C.19, includes fixes for various bugs in the Status bar and Settings.

Going by the official changelog, we don’t expect this software update to include any new features. It includes bug fixes and stability improvements, though. Realme had launched the X50 Pro 5G more than a year ago with Android 10e on board. It received the Android 11-based Realme 2.0 update in late 2020 and is expected to receive the Android 12 update once released.

If you are an X50 Pro user in India or any of the countries, chances are that you might have received a notification regarding the new update. If not, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings -> Software update and then tapping on Download and Install. You can also download the entire firmware image from the company’s official website and flash it manually.
