With the mass rollout of the May security patch, Realme 5 trio, Realme 5/5i/5s, which were launched back in 2019, succeeding the Realme 3 series also happen to be now receiving a new OTA update, which is based on Realme UI 1.0 (Android 10).
The new update carries the firmware version RMX1911EX_11_C.69 for the Realme 5, RMX2030EX_11.C.69 for the 5i, and RMX1925EX_11.C.69 for the 5s, brings April as well as May security patch update paired with optimizations for system performance and improves the system stability. Realme has been doing a pretty good job at updating all of its devices regularly.

A similar pattern has been observable on a monthly basis for a while now, going back to at least late 2020. So, expect the Realme 5 Pro to join the fold by end-May. And if you’d like to try speeding up the actual waiting period start by attempting a manual installation of today’s OTA package. Just head over to Settings, tap Software update, and follow through with the mentioned Download and install option if tapping it yields any results.
All of this is happening not long after Realme upgraded its 2020 value range to Android 11, so many other Realme owners should still find the experience pretty fresh, regardless. Speaking of which, it would appear some extra bells and whistles could be part of this month’s upgrade, as well, going by the aforementioned name of the package.
