Another day, another software update from Realme Samsung. The company has now started rolling out the Android 11 based update to the mid-range Realme 6 and the 6i. The new software update brings bug fixes and optimizations to the smartphone, which was originally launched in early 2020 with Android 10 (Realme UI 1.0).
The new beta update carries the firmware version RMX2001_11_C.05/RMX2002_11_C.05 and is rolling out in stages. The update optimizes the system, call recording features, contacts, Realme Lab, and brings changes to the Camera. The update is based on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and is sized around 743MB.

- Fixed the probabilistic black bar flashing issue while entering thumbnails after capturing photos in 64M mode
If you are a Realme 6 or 6i user in the country, you can check for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also always download the latest firmware files from our the company’s official site and flash your phone manually.
