Realme 6, 6i Receives New Stable Update with February 2021 Patch

Realme has reportedly started rolling out new updates to Realme 6 and 6i users in India and Europe. The update carries the firmware version RMX2001_11_B.57/ RMX2002_11_B.57 in India and RMX2001EU_11_A.50 in Europe respectively.

The update carries the latest February 2021 security patch, fixes the probabilistic crash bugs when tapping More on the alarm editing page, optimizes the settings of mobile data limit, optimizes the probabilistic fail to adjust the volume after using earphones for a long time and more.

Moreover, the update optimizes the probabilistic issue when searching in Settings, fixes the extra splitting line between display size and screen display in Display & brightness settings and optimizes the system performance. The update is based on Realme UI 1.0 with Android 10.

That said, to instantly updated your device to the latest version, head on to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update to check for updates. Moreover, since the update is rolling out in batches, it may take around a week to complete its rollout.

The Indian variant of Realme 6 is currently under the early access program of Realme UI 2.0. We can expect Stable Realme UI 2.0 within the next couple of months, and the open beta in the upcoming month. The Indian variant of Realme 6i is yet to receive the early access program of Realme UI 2.0 for now.

To recall, both the Realme 6 and Realme 6i are powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and were launched back in 2020.
