This Phone Can Now Read Your Heart Rate, Without Any External Equipments

Madhav Seth, the CEO of Realme, has stated that the Realme 9 Pro+, which will be released soon, will include a heart rate sensor for heart rate monitoring. A video posted on Twitter by the VP shows the smartphone using its in-display fingerprint scanner to assess heart rate. Let us take a closer look at what the phone could do, especially with its heart rate monitor.

The heart rate monitoring will be done using the handset’s in-display scanner, according to the brand’s video. This also indicates that the device will have both an AMOLED Display and an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner. One thing to keep in mind is that Realme warns against utilising the information for medical treatment or diagnosis.

The business has previously stated that the Pro+ model would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC under the hood. The 9 Pro+ will include a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate on the front.

A 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor will be included in the smartphone’s triple back camera arrangement. It is reported to include a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. In terms of storage, the Realme 9 Pro+ is expected to include up to 256GB of inbuilt storage and a 4,500mAh battery.

Our sources tell us that the Realme 9 Pro+ will be sold in three storage configurations. In India, users will have an option to choose between 6GB, and 8GB RAM options with 128GB of memory onboard. This means the handset will retail in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB. However, EU customers will get an additional 8GB + 256GB configuration on the 9 Pro+.
