Realme GT Master Edition Gets Its First Update With Software Improvements

It might be a busy time for Realme’s software development teams as they prepare for the incoming Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 beta program for the flagship series, but that isn’t putting a dent in the company’s plans to rollout security updates for its smartphones as quickly as possible. After releasing the August 2021 security update to a ton of devices including the Realme 6, Narzo 20, Realme has released it to the newly arrived Realme GT Master Edition as well.

The Realme GT Master Edition has started getting the new software update in India. It comes with firmware version RMX3360_11_A.04 and includes the August 2021 security patch. Realme is yet to detail its latest security patch, but it could contain fixes for multiple privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. The new update also brings improved system smoothness, improves Wi-Fi and network while fixing heating issues.

If you are a Realme GT Master Edition user, you can check for the latest security patch by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also choose to download the latest firmware file from realme’s firmware database and flash it manually. The update could expand to more markets over the next few days.
