Realme Narzo 30A Starts Receiving the January 2022 Security Update

The Realme Narzo 30A has officially started to get the January 2022 Security Patch with a new update. The Narzo 30A joins the list of realme devices getting the January Security patch, alongside the Realme C20, GT Neo 2, X7 and some other devices.

While the new update which brings the January Security patch is still based on Realme UI 2.0, the latest firmware for the Realme Narzo 30A comes with version RMX3171_11_C.06. Currently, the update has been started to roll out for Indian users and we expect it to be soon pushed to other parts of the world as well.

As for the changes, this new update brings the newer security patch and along with it, there are some improvements made to the system performance. The update also fixes some issues related to WhatsApp and a bug where the device won’t charge at times even after being connected to the wall socket.

You can check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware file from Realme’s database and flash it by heading over to the recovery mode of your device. As Realme rolls out the update in a phased manner, a handful of smartphones will get the update first and the rest of the smartphones should receive the update in the next few days, if no issues are found.
