Realme Pushes the January 2022 Update for the Realme X3 and X3 Superzoom

Realme has officially started to roll out the January 2022 Security Patch for the Realme X3 series, which include the X3 and the X3 Superzoom; both the smartphones arrived in 2020, and now these devices have joined the list of realme devices running on the latest security patch. This month alone, Realme C20, X7, GT Neo 2 and Narzo 30A have already got the update and we expect more devices to follow soon.

The new update brings the January Security patch is based on Realme UI 2.0; the latest firmware for the Realme X3 comes with version RMX2083_11_C.11 while the X3 SuperZoom comes with the firmware version RMX2085_11_C.11. Currently, the update has been started to roll out for Indian users and is expected to be soon pushed to other parts of the world.

The latest update for the realme X3 series doesn’t bring any new major changes, and the changelog mentions the Android security patch for the month of January 2022 and improvements to system performance. The update size is sized at 685MB for both the Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom.

Users can check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware file from Realme’s database and flash it by heading over to the recovery mode of your device. Since Realme rolls out updates in a phased manner, a handful of smartphones will get the update first and the rest of the smartphones should receive the update in the next few days, if no issues are found.
