Realme releases July 2021 Update to the Realme 5, 5i and the 5s

After releasing the June 2021 security update to the Realme C25 and the C15 Qualcomm Edition earlier today, Realme has started rolling out a new software update to the Realme 5, 5i and the 5s. These smartphones had received their previous software update a couple of months ago, and it included the May 2021 security patch.

Realme has started rolling out a new software update to the Realme 5, 5i and the 5s in India. The latest update for the smartphone bears firmware version RMX1911EX_11_C.71 for Realme 5, RMX1925EX_11_C.71 for the Realme 5s and RMX2030EX_11_C.71 for the Realme 5i and includes fixes for Facebook messenger.

If you are a Realme 5, 5i or 5s user in India, you can wait for the OTA (Over-The-Air) update to arrive on your smartphone or check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. If you are an advanced user with experience in flashing firmware files on Realme smartphones, you can download the latest firmware from our Realme’s database and flash it manually.

For a quick recall, the Realme 5/5s/5i feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, and much more. The device was launched in 2019 and initially ran ColorOS 6.0 with Android Pie, and later it received the Realme UI 1.0 (Android 10) update.  That said, what are your thoughts on the new update?
