Realme, the fastest-growing Tech brand on Monday announced that it would soon begin exporting smartphones to Nepal; as early as in the third quarter of 2021. Nepal is a vital market for the company, and it wants to grow its position in the country’s smartphone industry to suit consumer demands. Following its fundamental approach, the Beijing-based company seeks to democratise the most cutting-edge technology in smartphones and AIOT goods in Nepal, making them accessible to users across all price ranges.
Madhav Sheth, who is presently the Vice President and CEO of realme India and Europe, will be in charge of the brand’s presence and business operations in Nepal, as well as continuing to manage realme’s India and Europe growth storey. According to Counterpoint Research, realme has become the leading 5G smartphone brand in India, with a 23 per cent market in Q2 2021, and is the fastest brand to reach 50 million cumulative smartphone shipments in India, thanks to Madhav’s intelligence.
“It is yet another feather in the cap of realme’s remarkable journey and an immensely proud moment where realme will be exporting ‘Make in India smartphones to our neighbour Nepal. Adding to this we will also be exporting our AIOT products very soon. We have received great success in India and will look forward to receiving a similar achievement in Nepal where we are providing our latest and innovative products at democratized prices.’ – said Mr Madhav Sheth.
‘Our aim is to be among the TOP 2 smartphone brands in Nepal by 2022. As I embark on this newly added role to lead realme’s Nepal operations, I am really thrilled and looking forward to bringing fantastic realme products to Nepal users’, he added.
As one of India’s early adopters of 5G technology, realme was the first brand to introduce the country’s first 5G smartphone, the flagship realme X50 Pro 5G. The brand is currently India’s leading 5G smartphone brand. This recent milestone demonstrates realme’s dedication to 5G in the Indian market, with the goal of reaching more people in India and around the world.
In keeping with its commitment, realme, India’s 5G pioneer, would release at least three new 5G devices before Diwali, as well as 5G smartphones with flagship capabilities in the premium class, challenging the premium market.
