The Realme 6 Pro, launched by the company back in 2020, packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, a 6.6-inch 90Hz Full HD+ IPS LCD Display, a 4300mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging, and lots more. With the arrival of Android 11, Realme announced Realme UI 2.0 and a custom skin developed based on Android 11.
While the update has been rolled out in beta stages for a couple of devices, including the Realme 7 Pro, the X50 Pro, and more, now it’s time for Realme 6 Pro. The company on Monday announced the Early Access Program for the Indian users of Realme 6 Pro. The update carries the firmware version number RMX2061_11_C.08 and brings the goodness of Android 11. As an Early Access Program member, users can get the chance to experience Realme UI 2.0, and it comes with tons of customizations such as global theme color, icon and font customizations, enhanced security, enhanced optimizations, better productivity with an essence of vanilla Android flavor.
How to Join Realme UI 2.0 Android 11 Early Access Program for the Realme 6 Pro:
Before heading over and applying for the beta, here are some points you need to note:
- Please make sure your phone is not rooted.
- To prevent data loss, please make sure to backup your device.
- Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with this version of Android 11 yet. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available in the Play Store before your update.
- The Early Access versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and effect on daily use.
- Make sure to have more than 5GB available in your phone storage.
Here are the steps you need to follow to get on the beta version of Realme UI 2.0 on Realme 6 Pro
- Update your device to the required UI version: RMX2061_11.A.39.
- Apply for Early access through the Settings panel: head over to Settings -> Software Update -> Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner -> Trial Version ->; Submit your details -> Apply Now.
- With this, you will be enrolled in the Realme 2.0 Early Access Program.
