Realme has updated most of its new and old smartphones with the April security patch. It has even started rolling out the May 2021 security update to a few high-end and mid-range smartphones. Today, the company has released a new update to the Realme 7i and the Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition, and it includes the May 2021 security patch.
The Realme 7i and C15 Qualcomm Edition have started receiving the new software update in India, but we expect other markets to get it in a matter of days. The new update, which has firmware version RMX2103PU_11.A.49 and RMX2195PU_11.A.33 respectively, includes fixes for various security and privacy vulnerabilities.

The official changelog states that this software update doesn’t include any new features. It might include bug fixes and stability improvements, though. Realme had launched the Realme 7i in 2020 with Android 10 onboard. It received the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update in early 2021.
If you are a Realme 7i or Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition user in India, you might have received a notification regarding the new update. If not, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings -> Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the entire firmware image from the company’s database and flash it manually.
