Realme’s upcoming Watch 2 specifications and images have surfaced online, specifically on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, exposing details of the upcoming smartwatch in advance. The next smartwatch by the company resembles the original Realme Watch with a couple of improvements.
The certified smartwatch is the successor of Realme Watch, namely the Realme Watch 2, as revealed by the manual. The watch carries the model number RMW2008 features a square 1.4-inch TFT color display with 320×320 pixels, the same as the Realme watch; however, it packs in a bigger 305mAh battery along with Bluetooth 5.0.
The smartwatch will come with a heart rate sensor for 24-hour heart rate monitoring, a SpO2 sensor for detecting blood oxygen levels, and more. As per the manual, the upcoming watch will support multiple dedicated workout modes, a sleep tracker, a mediation model, music controls, and much more. The watch will include a dedicated power-saving mode to extend the battery life as per the manual.
Next up, the certification images reveal a Dare to Leap branding on the strap. The dimensions of the watch include 257.6×36.7×12.2mm. As for charging, sadly, Realme will be using a propriety magnetic charging base instead of a USB port. Finally, the watch will also come with IP68 water protection level certification.
Details about the pricing and the launch date are unknown yet; however, we expect to receive more information regarding the watch in the upcoming days. That said, with the ample amount of details available in the FCC listing, we expect the smartphone to become official soon.
