The Realme X2 which was launched by the company back in 2019 featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, a 4000 mAh Battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging, and much more; has now reportedly started accepting applications for Realme UI 2.0 Early Access Beta Program. The device was launched with ColorOS 6.0 (Android 9 Pie) and later was upgraded to Realme UI 1.0 (Android 10).
Earlier this year, Realme announced their next version of Android Custom UI which will be based on Android 11, The Realme UI 2.0. Eventually, multiple devices including the Realme X50 Pro, Realme 7 Pro, and more started receiving the update in stable or beta channels. Consequently, as per Realme’s timelines, the company has now opened applications for Realme X2’s Realme UI 2.0 Beta program. and it’s time for Realme X2 to receive early access to Realme UI 2.0.
How to Apply for Early Access Beta Application:
Disclaimer before Applying for Early Access Program:
- Make sure your phone is not rooted.
- To prevent data loss, make sure to backup your device.
- Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 11 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or may crash on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available in the Play Store before your update.
- The Early Access versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and effect on daily use.
- Make sure to have more than 5GB available in your phone storage.
Some known bugs:
The beta version will temporarily disable the Pro Night Mode, 960fps slow-motion function, DC dimming function, and will be back in the subsequent versions, The Portrait mode freezes and portrait filter selected in portrait mode freezes and crashes, and the Super Macro Mode lags in the camera app.
Preparation:
Realme X2 with 60%+ battery, Unrooted, and Bootloader locked.
- Update your device to the required UI version: RMX1992_11_C.16
- Apply for Early access through the Settings panel: head over to Settings -> Software Update -> Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner -> Trial Version ->; Submit your details -> Apply Now.
- With this, you will be enrolled in the Realme 2.0 Early Access Program.
