Realme X7 Max 5G gets the September 2021 security update in India

Realme has already released its latest security update to most of its high-end and mid-range smartphones over the past month. The company has now started releasing the September 2021 security update to the Realme X7 Max 5G, starting with India. Other markets could also get access to the new update very soon.

The Realme X7 Max 5G (RMX3031) has started getting a new software update in India. It has firmware version RMX3031_11_A.19 and includes the September 2021 security patch. Earlier this month, a report revealed that the September patch fixes 50 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. The new update also brings some bug fixes and devices stability improvements. There are bug fixes for system and networks.

Realme X7 Max 5G users in India might have received a notification of the new update. If you are among those users and haven’t received the update yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from realme’s firmware database and flash it manually.
