Jio APN Settings for High Speed 4G Internet: How to Set Jio Access Point on Your Mobile for Internet Access

Reliance Jio is one of India’s major telecom operators, thanks to its low prices compared to the competition. However, some Jio 4G subscribers have complained about sluggish internet connections. Slow internet speeds are the last thing we want to confront in this day and age when practically all of our activities are dependent on the internet.

If your Jio Sim is experiencing problems such as poor internet, consider updating the APN by following our instructions. In this post, let’s take a look at how you can update your Jio APN settings for a faster internet connection.

What Is an APN (Access Point Name)? How Does It Effect Me?

Some people may be unsure what an APN is. An APN, or Access Point Name, is a set of network settings that your smartphone checks when it connects to your Internet service provider. To be more specific, APN in the smartphone holds all of the necessary configurations that the phone’s carrier employs to create a connection to the carrier’s network’s internet gateway.

How to Set Up Jio APN For High-Speed Internet on iOS?

Changes to the APN settings are not possible on iOS. You can usually compel your iPhone to self-detect the optimal Jio internet configurations by turning on and off the flight mode. If you’re not happy with it and want to manually set Jio APN on your iPhone, there’s a workaround for that as well:

  • Step 1: Connect your iPhone to a WiFi network.
  • Step 2: Open your browser and visit unlockit.co.nz.any.
  • Step 3: Scroll down and select the option Create APN.
  • Step 4: Select Jio from the drop-down menu.
  • Step 5: Tap on Create APNA new prompt will appear, where you need to click on Install.

Note: This method has only been officially tested till iOS 12 and we can’t guarantee if it’s safe to use this website for iOS 13 and above. If you think this method affected your Jio 4G speed on your iPhone, try restarting it or turning it on and off the Flight mode.
