Realme 6’s new Beta Update brings Optimizations and Bug Fixes

The Realme C2 was secured with the May 2021 security patch a couple of days ago when the firmware update made its debut, and Realme is now improving the Realme 6’s security through a new update. The Realme 6 is now receiving a new beta OTA update with bug fixes and optimizations.

Realme 6 beta users in the country should receive an update notification at any moment, though as usual, availability will gradually expand to include an increasing number of markets.

India appears to be among the first countries to gain access to the new Realme 6 firmware, but there may be more. Realme 6 owners can identify the update by firmware number RMX2001_11_C.06.

The firmware versions hint at new features possibly being included with the new update, though we were unable to confirm. Worth noting is that the May security patch that was released for several other Realme devices — including the Realme 8 Pro. It is possible that the Realme 6 users might be enjoying some other enhancements apart from the changelog as well.

Realme 6 owners running on Beta firmware can check if the new update is available for download from the Settings app, but they can also download the new update files from the company’s archive and install them manually on their Realme devices.
