[Rolling out in Indonesia too] Realme 8 Receives New Update With Camera Optimizations [A.10]

Realme recently launched the Realme 8 series, comprising of the Realme 8 4G (check out our update tracker here) and the Realme 8 Pro 4G, followed by the addition of the Realme 8 5G. The vanilla Realme 8 4G has reportedly started receiving a new software update over OTA.

The update carries the firmware version RMX3085_11_A.10 and is based on Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11). The update brings the latest security patches, multiple bug fixes, and optimizations for the camera and the fingerprint scanner. The update also addresses the bugs which users were complaining about since the launch.

Update: 03 May 2021: Realme is rolling out this new update in other countries starting with Indonesia. The changelog is same as the one with the Indian update.

    • Optimized the fingerprint logic and improved unlocking experience

You can now check for updates manually by heading over to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update.

For a recap, the Realme 8 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95, a 6.4-inch AMOLED Display, and a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup.
