Realme’s Narzo lineup of smartphones now possesses over 3 million users. Introduced back in May 2020 which was later followed by its second generation of devices in September 2020. Time has passed and rumours regarding the upcoming Narzo 30 series of devices have started to appear. The top-end Narzo 30 Pro is expected to feature 90Hz Full HD+ LCD Display but there’s a probability for a 60Hz AMOLED too. The Narzo 30 on the other hand, is rumoured to feature a 90Hz 720p LCD panel while the Narzo 30A is expected to ship with a 720p 60Hz display considering the past generations.

Performance and Connectivity

The Pro model may carry a 5G chipset this time, (maybe the MediaTek Dimensity 720). The TENAA listing of RMX3161 shows that the device supports 5G connectivity with NR SA/NSA network support and we speculate that this model is the Narzo 30 Pro. The Non-Pro variant is expected to sport a 4G chipset and might pack in a MediaTek G series chip like G90T or G95. However, the budget centric Realme Narzo 30A is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 or a MediaTek Helio G series chipset like G80 as its competitors.

As for the software and UI, all phones from the Narzo 30 series is expected to launch with Realme’s latest Custom UI, Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

As per TENAA certifications, The top-end Realme Narzo 30 Pro is expected to come with a 4880mAh battery with support for 65W SuperDart fast charging. The non-pro variant may get 30W charging while the Narzo 30A may get 18W charging rather than 10W.

Camera Features

Realme Narzo 30 Pro is expected to come with a 6.5-inch screen and a triple rear camera setup, which might be a 64-megapixel  primary + 8 megapixels ultrawide and a 2-megapixel sensor. Realme Narzo 30 is expected to get a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup and the Narzo 30A to get a triple camera setup.

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro, as well as Narzo 30, is expected to get a side-mounted fingerprint while the Realme Narzo 30A will retain the same rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the Realme RMX3161 or RMX3092 is expected to be the Pro model.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme Narzo 30A is expected to launch under the 10k segment while the base variant of the Realme Narzo 30 is speculated to be priced at Rs.13,999 in India and the Realme Narzo 30 Pro to be priced at Rs.18,999 to compete with the likes of the upcoming Redmi Note 10 Pro or Pro Max.

The company has already started teasing the devices on their social media handles and is expected to launch quite soon. We expect the announcement to happen by the month of March or April of 2021.
